Smith missed a century when he was out for 95, but would have been happier to be among the races after individual failures against England and New Zealand.
The Zadrans - Shapoor and Dawlat returned to bag a couple of windows each, but both players were combined to give away 190 runs from his 20 overs. Rhythm WACA only allowed to Australian batsmen to score quickly and skill in Afghanistan Mirwais Ashraf off, who had earlier returned home after suffering a side strain was lost.
